James B Hannah
Senior Practitioner / Clinic Director
"Studying and working alongside the world’s best practitioners and understanding their approach has given me the confidence that I am providing the very best service, procedure and product in the world."

A successful sculptor and furniture designer, James came from an artistic background before developing his talents in other directions.

After hearing about Scalp Micropigmentation, he investigated the procedure further and decided to travel to the UK to work and study with the worlds most talented practitioners.

James spent several months under their tutelage learning and understanding the procedure, adding his own artistic flair and anatomical knowledge to the process.

On returning to Cape Town in 2018 he was instrumental in setting up and operating as a Director/Senior practitioner of the SA base of this prominent UK based clinic. James went on to build great relationships with the clients that he helped while there and still enjoys those relationships today.

After working at the clinic for 2 years he felt that the natural progression was to go it alone and thus Scalp Dr. was born. He was certain that he wanted to add a more personal touch to the treatment process, to take everything that he has learned abroad and had gathered from his previous work experience in Scalp Micropigmentation and build a South African brand.

'Studying and working alongside the worlds best practitioners and understanding their approach has given me the confidence that I am providing the very best service, procedure and product in the world'.

James goes on to say - 'I learned from the best, pioneers of the treatment. I am so grateful for the skill and knowledge.'

James chose to work in Scalp Micropigmentation so that he could make a difference to peoples lives. To date he is the most qualified practitioner to perform Scalp Micropigmentation in South Africa, on paper and artistically.
